DMUC Students Explore International Business at EuroCham Cambodia
De Montfort University Cambodia (DMUC) students visited EuroCham Cambodia on 11 February 2026 as part of an experiential learning initiative designed to connect academic theory with real-world industry practice. The site visit allowed students, particularly from the Economics programme, to gain deeper insight into how international business organisations operate while exploring professional workplace environments and organisational structures. This industry exposure reflects DMUC’s commitment to delivering a British education that combines academic excellence with practical experience.
During the visit, students learned about the role of chambers of commerce in shaping economic policy, supporting trade relations, and facilitating business advocacy within Cambodia’s growing international business ecosystem. Discussions highlighted how EuroCham contributes to economic development through collaboration between private sector stakeholders, policymakers, and global partners. The experience enabled students to better understand real-world economic dynamics, professional communication, and cross-sector cooperation beyond classroom learning.
The EuroCham Cambodia visit demonstrates DMUC’s focus on career-ready education by providing opportunities that enhance employability and global awareness. By engaging with industry professionals and gaining practical exposure to international business operations, students develop critical skills aligned with today’s competitive job market, reinforcing DMUC’s position as a leading British-degree university in Cambodia.
